A-to-Z Claims
Amazon's buyer-protection claims, granted to the customer and charged back to the seller. One of three ways revenue leaves after shipping, alongside refunds and chargebacks.
An A-to-Z Guarantee claim is filed by a customer who says an order did not arrive or was not as described, and did not get resolved with the seller. When Amazon grants it, the amount is deducted from the seller and appears in settlement reports rather than in the refund report.
Because claims and chargebacks live in different reports from refunds, most spreadsheets miss them. Together with refunds they are subtracted from gross shipped revenue to reach net product revenue.
