Clarisix vs MerchantSpring

Both connect to your marketplace accounts and report on them. MerchantSpring is a multichannel data layer: 120+ channels normalised into dashboards, an API, and an MCP server, with profit as one report per channel. Clarisix is the operating system for a brand selling on Amazon: one command center across profit, sales, advertising, inventory, content, and customers, with the reason behind every number and the next move.

Based on MerchantSpring’s public pricing, feature pages, release notes, and hands-on use of their product in a live agency account as of 17 September 2026, and on the current Clarisix product. We are not affiliated with MerchantSpring.

The short version

Breadth across channels, or one set of numbers that agree.

Choose MerchantSpring if

You need one view across many channels, or white-labelled client reporting.

  • Meaningful revenue sits on Walmart, Shopify, eBay, TikTok Shop, or Mirakl marketplaces, and you want one view across all of them.
  • You are an agency whose main job is branded client reporting, and white-label matters.
  • Amazon Vendor Central is the core business, and purchase orders, Direct Fulfillment, and suppression alerts drive the evaluation.
  • Your data team wants a JSON API into its own warehouse or AI tools today.

Choose Clarisix if

Amazon is the business, and the numbers have to tie to the bank.

  • Amazon is 80% or more of revenue and you want one set of numbers the whole business agrees on.
  • A CFO, founder, or investor wants a month-end P&L that ties to the payout, not an estimate.
  • You sell across several EU marketplaces and want profit for the whole business in one view, with VAT kept out of margin.
  • Finance, operations, advertising, and leadership all need access, and seats are a friction point today.
  • You want sales by category, brand, and marketplace on one screen, not across three tabs.

The command center

Can you run the whole business from one screen, and do the numbers agree with each other?

One screen for the whole business

MerchantSpring

A dashboard per channel and a cross-channel rollup for sales and operations. Around 35 sidebar items in six groups, with no executive summary above them.

Clarisix

Home shows six pillar tiles with period-over-period and last-year deltas, a period snapshot, and a forecast for the month.

Slice a number without changing screens

MerchantSpring

Sales by category, sales by brand, and sales by marketplace are separate reports on separate tabs. Comparing two cuts of the same figure means opening two screens and holding the numbers in your head.

Clarisix

Every page pivots by marketplace, brand, category, or product in place. The analyst view is a query builder across every metric and dimension, with Excel-like cell selection that shows summary statistics for whatever you highlight.

Numbers agree across views

MerchantSpring

Product profit excludes P&L items not attributable to products, by their own tooltip. On the account we reviewed, product profit and channel profit differed by about 18% for the same month.

Clarisix

One data model. The advertising, inventory and P&L figures come from the same definitions, and the margin cascade runs on the same numbers as the P&L.

Profit across all marketplaces

MerchantSpring

Profitability is per channel, and each marketplace is its own channel. The cross-channel rollup covers sales and operations, with no profitability section.

Clarisix

One rollup across every marketplace and account, with one filter that applies to every page.

Explains why a number moved

MerchantSpring

No diagnostics layer. The user compares reports and forms the explanation.

Clarisix

Sales and Advertising Diagnostics rank the drivers behind a change with a confidence level and a profit impact.

Alerts and action items

MerchantSpring

Operational alerts: suppressed listings, out of stocks, account health, Buy Box changes.

Clarisix

Action feed for stockout risk, review spikes, ad budget overspend, and listings under the content threshold, each with a next step.

Profitability

Is the P&L something finance would sign?

Full P&L with Amazon fees

MerchantSpring

A monthly P&L per channel with a drill-down to settlement line items. The payout figure is an estimate, product totals exclude items not attributable to products, and the P&L is available for selected channel types only.

Clarisix

Every Amazon fee type in a margin cascade from product margin to net operating profit, reconciled to the settlement, across every marketplace and account at once, and per ASIN on the same numbers.

Accounting basis

MerchantSpring

A Deferred or Settled toggle, an include-tax toggle, and a COGS refund policy toggle on every profit page.

Clarisix

Order, shipment (GAAP), or payout basis, switched on the same period.

Profit tied to the bank payout

MerchantSpring

The P&L reports an estimated payout. We found no screen that reconciles each settlement line to the bank deposit.

Clarisix

Every settlement line reconciled to the payout, so the month-end figure is the one that arrived in the bank.

Product and SKU profitability

MerchantSpring

Per-ASIN profit with COGS editable inline and a bulk upload template. Product totals exclude items not attributable to products.

Clarisix

Per-ASIN margin cascade with landed costs in seven currencies and a coverage worklist for SKUs still missing a cost.

EU VAT treatment

MerchantSpring

Tax is an include or exclude toggle on a single line of the P&L.

Clarisix

VAT held in a memo outside profit, per marketplace, so margin is never inflated or deflated by tax.

Advertising inside the profit figure

MerchantSpring

Advertising is a separate connection. Until the ad account is linked, ad spend is blank in the P&L and TACoS shows nothing, so profit silently omits ad spend.

Clarisix

Ad spend is a line in the margin cascade, and the safe ACoS ceiling per product is derived from its real margin.

Advertising

Is advertising profitable, per product, and what should change?

Ad profitability per product

MerchantSpring

ACoS and TACoS by product once the ad account is linked.

Clarisix

Safe ACoS ceiling per product from its real margin, plus TACoS and ACoS on the same numbers as the P&L.

Diagnostics with a next step

MerchantSpring

Campaign reporting without a ranked diagnosis.

Clarisix

Campaign, ad group, placement, ASIN, search-term and keyword diagnostics ranked into a decision, plus budget planning and pacing.

Inventory

Does it tell you what to order, and when?

Stock status and out-of-stocks

MerchantSpring

Out-of-stock and order fulfilment monitoring on the operations screens.

Clarisix

Days of cover, sales at risk, stranded and unfulfillable units, IPI score, and FBA capacity utilisation.

Replenishment order plan

MerchantSpring

No order plan documented. Stock monitoring only.

Clarisix

An order plan with quantity, order-by date, stockout date, and estimated cost, grouped into order now, order soon, and plan ahead.

Content and customers

Are listings and customers being watched?

Listing content tracking

MerchantSpring

Suppressed listings and Buy Box win rate. No field-by-field content tracking documented.

Clarisix

Published content compared to what is live on Amazon, field by field, with an alert when a listing drops below the score you set.

Ratings and reviews

MerchantSpring

Review management on the operations screens.

Clarisix

Review-spike alerts today. A full ratings and reviews module is in development.

In development
Customer retention views

MerchantSpring

LTV and repeat-purchase analysis on the top agency tiers only.

Clarisix

Subscribe & Save, LTV, LTV to CAC, new-to-brand, and cohort retention on every plan.

Operational monitoring

MerchantSpring

Buy Box win rate, account health, suppressed listings, reviews, and order fulfilment on the same screens.

Clarisix

Content tracking and stockout alerts. No account-health or Buy Box monitoring today.

Platform

Who can use it, what does it connect to, and how does the data get out?

Channels beyond Amazon

MerchantSpring

120+ channels including Walmart, Shopify, eBay, TikTok Shop, and Mirakl marketplaces. The monthly P&L is available for selected channel types only.

Clarisix

Amazon only. Shopify and off-Amazon connectors are in development.

In development
Users and roles

MerchantSpring

Seats are capped by plan, up to 50 on the Global plan.

Clarisix

Unlimited users and accounts on every plan, with Admin, Editor, and Viewer roles.

Agency client reporting

MerchantSpring

Full white-label in production: own logo, own product name, own subdomain.

Clarisix

Cross-client admin and client sharing on Agency plans. No white-label.

Amazon Vendor Central

MerchantSpring

Vendor P&L, sell-in and sell-out, purchase orders, Direct Fulfillment, and suppression alerts.

Clarisix

Vendor accounts connect. Vendor-specific workflows are narrower than MerchantSpring's today.

Data out to BI and AI

MerchantSpring

A JSON API and an MCP server that works in Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor.

Clarisix

MCP server in beta. CSV, Excel, and Google Sheets exports. API access is on the roadmap.

In development
Track record

MerchantSpring

35,000+ brands and agencies claimed.

Clarisix

Launched in 2026, built by the team behind e-Comas, an agency running Amazon for brands for 13 years.

MerchantSpring details come from merchantspring.io, their pricing page and release notes, and hands-on use of their product in a live agency account as of 17 September 2026. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners. If we have something wrong, write to support@clarisix.com and we will fix it.

Credit where it is due

Where MerchantSpring is ahead today.

Channel breadth is theirs outright. Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Shopify, TikTok Shop, and Mirakl marketplaces, 120+ in total. If meaningful revenue sits off Amazon, Clarisix cannot show it, and MerchantSpring can.

Agencies get a finished white-label product: own logo, own product name, own subdomain, in production today. Their Amazon Vendor Central coverage, with vendor P&L, purchase orders, Direct Fulfillment, and suppression alerts, is deeper than ours.

One caveat on the operations side. The breadth sits behind a dense interface: around 35 sidebar items, and sales by category, by brand, and by marketplace on separate tabs. It is all there, but the user does the assembling.

Their JSON API and MCP server are live and work in Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor. Clarisix MCP is in beta, and a Clarisix API is still on the roadmap. We have written about why we built the data model first. Their operational monitoring, from Buy Box win rate to account health, is also broader than what Clarisix watches today.

Pricing

Different units, so compare the whole bill.

MerchantSpring prices on channels, seats, and AI credits by plan, and each marketplace counts as a channel. Clarisix prices on active products counted once per marketplace, with users, accounts, and orders unlimited on every plan.

Two worked examples

Where the math favours Clarisix

A brand on five EU marketplaces with a team of eight, 150 products.

150 products × 5 marketplaces = 750 active products, so Brand Growth at €599 a month covers all eight people and every marketplace. On MerchantSpring the five marketplaces are five channels and the eight people are eight seats, and the entry tiers cap both, so the plan that fits is above the $399 Seller tier.

Where it does not

A brand with 1,000 SKUs on four marketplaces.

1,000 × 4 = 4,000 active products, which is above every listed Clarisix plan and means Enterprise pricing. MerchantSpring does not count products, so a wide catalog costs no more there. Count your catalog per marketplace before comparing, and ask us for a quote if you are above 3,000.

List prices as published on 17 September 2026, excluding VAT. Seat and channel limits per MerchantSpring plan are not fully published; confirm them on their rate card. See full Clarisix pricing.

How to evaluate

Three questions to ask in both trials.

Run them against both products with your own data, on the same month.

01

Add up profit across your products. Does it match your channel profit for the same month?

In MerchantSpring the product view excludes P&L items not attributable to products, by their own tooltip, and on the account we reviewed the two figures differed by about 18%. In Clarisix the per-ASIN margin cascade and the P&L run on the same numbers, so ask to see both and check that they agree.

02

Does the month-end profit figure match what arrived in the bank?

MerchantSpring reports an estimated payout. Clarisix reconciles every settlement line to the payout. Take one real settlement and compare it against both.

03

Where do you see profit for every marketplace at once?

MerchantSpring shows profit one channel at a time, and each marketplace is a channel. Sales by category, by brand, and by marketplace are three more tabs. Clarisix shows one rollup across every marketplace and account, then the same figure cut by brand, category, or ASIN on the same screen.

Questions people ask.

Clarisix

Run both for a month.

Both are read-only on your Amazon account. Connect Clarisix, give it a few hours, and compare on your own numbers.
